🧙♂️🌲 🏖️ The local “hobbit trail” to the beach begins about 100 feet from the front door. It’s a fun 1/3-mile walk (7–10 minutes) through a charming forest path that feels straight out of a storybook. Along the way, you’ll cross a couple of sandy dunes — a little bit of a climb, but nothing too wild (though little legs and tired knees might need a hand!). For an easier route, Heceta Beach County Park is just ½ mile away and offers both free and paid parking.
